Ainsa trip
The village of Ainsa, declared a National Monument in 1965, is located in a privileged place. Surrounded by large natural areas like the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido and the National Park of the Canyons and Sierra de Guara.
In the old village you can visit the castle dating from the 11th century, the Plaza Mayor dating back to the XI and XII century and the church of Santa María, the 11th century. Its streets, with old and renovated houses composing the wonderful setting of the old medieval town of Ainsa.
Do not forget the two rivers, Cinca and Ara, who are passing through the village and ending in the lake Mediano.
Itinerary: Leaving the campsite, towards the Hotel, we take the road to Cruz Cubierta and continue, reaching the castle and old town.
